TRASHEROES is a nonprofit environmental project which aims at freeing Tanzanian communities from (plastic) waste by building public waste containers while educating the local population on sustainable waste management and responsible consumption.

A polluted environment is a challenge for both humans and animals.
Before TRASHEROES was founded, the only option for local people was to burn their waste or to leave it in an illegal landfill.
